Lamont says the production behind the song, by Key Wane, reminded him of a new age Super Nintendo game.

"And Sean's line "Remember when you used to come through and hit the Mario Kart, and you always picked the princess, I realized you was princess way back then..." It was a light bulb moment for me," said Lamont.

Lamont worked with animators to get the nostalgic feel, as Sean travels through seas, dodging hazards on the kart track.

"I literally yelled "Save the princess!" in the studio. Initially, I didn't have the characters going in and out of the video game from live action, but after talking it through we realized that's never been done before and I love pushing the boundaries," said Lamont.
