Just last week it was announced Seger and Kid Rock are performing together March 15 at the Xcel Energy Center in St. Paul, Minn., and March 16 at Fargo Dome in Fargo, N.D. The announcement was made Thursday morning. Tickets for the Rock-Seger shows will go on sale on Jan. 26 at 10 a.m. There is no word yet on whether the pair will be performing in Detroit.

The two musicians have collaborated before, with Rock appearing on Seger's 2006 album "Face the Promise" and the rocker returning the favor on Rock's 2010 release "Born Free." It was Rock who inducted Seger into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2004.
