Tens of thousands are expected to make the journey from across Michigan and across the country for the music festival.

This year, the festival has expanded to two weekends. The first weekend begins Thursday, June 22 and ends Sunday (technically early Monday morning) June 25th.

The second weekend follows right after going from June 29 through July 2.

Though the first weekend has sold out, tickets for the second weekend are still available and can be purchased here.

Having a heavy focus on electronic music and jam bands, the festival also offers an array of other music, art and artists. From interactive installations to actors pretending to be woodland creatures, it can all be found throughout the festival venue.

The most magical experiences, however, can be found in the Sherwood Forest.

The Forest within the venue is what makes the festival the most enchanting in the country. With colorful lights bouncing off rows of trees and sculptures, and music coming from two stages nestled within, it’s easy to get lost in the Forest and absolutely not care.

Overall, there are 7 stages and a silent disco (also in Sherwood Forest) spread across the venue known as Double JJ Ranch.

Headlining musical acts for the first weekend include My Morning Jacket, The String Cheese Incident, Bassnectar, Odesza, Waka Flocka Flame, Above & Beyond and Dillon Francis.

The second weekend’s headliners include Flume, DJ Snake, The String Cheese Incident (don’t miss the band’s ‘Big Shebang’ on Saturday), Bassnectar, Waka Flocka Flame and Dillon Francis.
