Former Detroit Tiger and current Houston Astro Justin Verlander will wed supermodel Kate Upton in mid-November in Italy, according to the Houston Chronicle.

Upton revealed the pair had gotten engaged when she attended the Met Gala last year.
The news comes as Verlander, 34, won his first World Series title against the LA Dodgers on Thursday.
Upton, 25, was born in St. Joseph, Mich. Her uncle is U.S. Rep. Fred Upton, R-Mich.
