Flashpoint 2/28/16: Bing's outlook on Detroit, presidential primaries

The Detroit Regional Chamber hosted a policy conference and former Mayor Dave Bing spoke about diversity and inclusion in Detroit which sparked some controversy. Super Tuesday is days away and the field of presidential candidate’s is narrowing. Professional soccer is becoming more popular in metro Detroit.

Devin Scillian was joined by former Mayor Dave Bing and they talked about his recent speech at the policy conference. The first roundtable discussion consisted of Republican strategist Paul Welday and Democratic strategist Jill Alper who talked about primaries and the landscape of the 2016 election. The discussion consisted of the co-owners of the Detroit City Football Club Sean Mann and Alex Wright who talked about the growth of the football club on this week’s Flashpoint.
