Flashpoint 3/27/16: Foreign policy in the presidential race

The Flint Water Task Force released its findings this week. Acts of terror in Brussels put threats of ISIS back in spotlight and with only seven months until the election, the presidential candidates begin making foreign policy a major issue.

Devin Scillian was joined by Chris Kolb, co-chair of the Flint Water Task Force, to discuss the depths of the Flint water crisis. The roundtable consisted of Michigan State Director for the Trump campaign, Scott Hagerstrom, President and CEO of the Detroit Regional Chamber Sandy Baruah, publisher of the Arab American News Osama Siblani and Detroit Free Press editorial page editor Stephen Henderson, discussing the presidential race.

The conversation on this unusual election season continued with the Flashpoint roundtable where the group talked more about Donald Trump’s immigration plan and the trouble Hillary Clinton is having inspiring some voters.
