The breakfast choice is a fried waffle wrapped around a scrambled egg and a sausage patty, drizzled with maple syrup.

It's being tested in a handful of California restaurants, according to the Los Angeles Times

Earlier this year, Taco Bell began offering other breakfast items like bacon-and-egg burritos and fried dough balls with cream filling.

The waffle taco is being tested after the success of Doritos Locos tacos, which Taco Bell considers the most successful product launch in the company's 51-year history.  It costs 89 cents.

So far, the company has not said if or when the waffle taco will be made available in other states.
