Bacon dipped in chocolate?
Champagne Chocolates specializes in dipping unusual items in chocolate
MOUNT CLEMENS, Mich. – Who would think of such a thing?
It's just one of the unique delicacies being created right here in Michigan at Champagne Chocolates in Mt. Clemens. The 23-year-old company takes pride in finding unusual items to dip in chocolate -- such as their wine bottle dipped in chocolate.
Monday Local 4 we showed you a Cabernet Sauvignon made in Michigan by Filipo Marc Winery in Clinton Township paired with a Dark Chocolate. But all they need you to do is bring in your favorite bottle of wine and they will help you pair it with the right chocolate.
They also do logo chocolate, which is great for parties and business events. And our favorite Champagne Chocolate pick ... none other than bacon dipped in chocolate. Now that's some good eating. You can find out more about our pick Michigan business that carries products you didn't know you couldn't do without until you saw them.
But beware. Make sure you're not hungry before visiting this website. Even the website is so beautiful you'll get a craving for Champagne Chocolates.
Don't forget you can discover all kinds of Michigan-made products this weekend at the Buy Michigan Now Festival in Northville. It begins this Friday.
