DETROIT – Friday morning on Local 4 News, Faygo will unveil its newest flavor.
It's hard to imagine they could top the perfection that is Rock'n'Rye, but if they did, wouldn't that be a most amazing pop?
In the meantime, we thought this #throwbackthursday would be a great time to look back on some of the iconic Detroit pop --never soda-- brand's vintage commercials.
From the Faygo Kid saving a case of root beer from a stagecoach bandit to reminiscing in song aboard the Boblo boat to a beleaguered druggist serving up Red Pops, Faygo is responsible for some of the most memorable local ad campaigns this side of "Apple Pie and Chevrolet."
