Thursday night cafe gives families chance to escape hospital life

ANN ARBOR, Mich. – The music therapists at the University of Michigan Hospital and C.S. Mott's Children's Hospital give patients and their families a chance to get out of their hospital rooms and enjoy spending time together.

Every Thursday at 5:30 p.m., they open the Skyline Cafe from 5:30 p.m. until 6:30 p.m. Families enjoy a free meal of pizza or sandwiches and music. The music therapists entertain the crowd and give patients a chance to come up and sing a song or two.
