Detroit's Big Sean buys Guns N' Roses member Slash's former California mansion for $8.7M

Cass Tech graduate and Detroit native Big Sean has added a new property to his portfolio.

TMZ reports the rapper has purchased Slash's former Beverly Hills mansion for $8.7 million, even though the property had originally been listed for around $11 million.

The mansion includes seven bedrooms, eight bathrooms and 11,000 square feet, with a home theater, backyard pool and volleyball court.

Big Sean spends most of his time in California these days, but makes frequent trips back home to Detroit to see family and participate in community events for his foundation.
