Detroit-bred producer behind 'Approaching Midnight'


Sam Logan Khaleghi is a Detroit-bred producer.

His mother immigrated to Detroit after the Iranian Revolution and raised Khaleghi in the Motor City.

He's a graduate of both the University of Michigan and Northwestern University.

He's also been nominated for an Emmy for his work on "Prison Boat" and appears in several Pure Michigan commercials.

His latest film, "Approaching Midnight" was released Tuesday.

It is currently available for Que and Pre-Order at Netflix and Blockbuster. The film is winding down it's big screen limited release in several major cities with a theatrical opening in Chicago this weekend (Friday, Sept 27th). "Approaching Midnight" held its Red Carpet Charity Premiere in Detroit at the Emagine Royal Oak as a Fundraiser for the Veterans of the American Legion last month

Logan Khaleghi previously served as a producer on Lionsgate Films' #1 selling western DVD "Ghost Town".
