DETROIT – Early spring is maple syrup season and while the recipe may be simple (boil maple sap until it becomes syrup) it takes a lot of work. Michelle Oliver shows us how they make maple syrup from scratch at the E.L. Johnson Nature Center, from tapping the tree to boiling it down to tasting this sweet treat.
