Festival Of Trees In The D

This weekend is the 33rd annual "Festival Of Trees". It's a dazzling event you won't want to miss that helps a very special cause for kids here in the D.

Theresa Diefenbach and Scott Killingbeck from out partner the "Festival Of Trees" show us some examples of what will be at the event. One example of an item you will see at the event is the "Friendship Tree" which is a nine foot tall tree.

Dr. Jack Baker from Children's Hospital of Michigan talked about how the festival has benefited "The Children's Hospital of Michigan Foundation". The funds from the festival go to the Evergreen Endowment Fund to raise money for research on causes and cures on childhood illnesses. For more information visit www.fot.org or call 734-748-3822.

The "Festival Of Trees" event is at the Ford Community & Performing Arts Center located at 15801 Michigan Ave, Dearborn MI.
