Do you celebrate Valentine's Day?

Valentine's Day is coming up and What's the Buzz is all about the day of love

Valentine's Day is this Thursday so today on "What's the Buzz" we talked all about the day of love. Joining hosts Tati Amare and Jason Carr on the panel today were: Tasha Lord, a local singer and musician, Blaine Fowler, with "The Blaine Fowler Morning Show" on 96.3 WDVD, and Jason Hall with RiDetroit.

Up first: Do you celebrate Valentine's Day? "You've got to love somebody, even if it is just yourself," said Lord.

Then they moved on to: Who Takes the Lead on Valentine's Day? Fowler admitted that he has been married for almost 25 years and that 23 of those Valentine's Days his wife planned; though this year he took the lead.  "It's a together thing," said Hall, encouraging people to plan their day together.

Michelle Oliver was then brought in to share what the viewers were saying on social media. You can read some of the comments below:

The final question for the group was: Has social media turned Valentine's Day into a day full of pressure to do something grand? Fowler got the group started saying he didn't care. "I care what my wife thinks," Fowler explained. "And she cares, I hope, what I think, and that is where it ends." Lord said she thought there was pressure, particularly on the guys, to do something big. Oliver then pointed out that for women, there is a pressure to post what your partner did for you. Carr said that some Valentine's Days he goes all in and does something big, and other times, it has been a small celebration.

"What's the Buzz" airs every Monday If you want to join in the conversation, we post the topic every Sunday on the Live in the D facebook page.
