How you can make romantic cocktails at home

Make craft cocktails in your own home this Valentine's Day

Craft cocktails are the star of the trendy bars, but you don't have to go out to enjoy them; you can mix things up in your own home. Kristy Cook, the bar manager of Central Kitchen + Bar in Downtown Detroit, joined Tati Amare and Jason Carr in the studio thanks to our friends at Pernod Ricard. Cook showed us a new way to impress on Valentine's Day with some craft cocktails.

The first drink was called French 75. Cook used a shot of cognac with lemon juice and simple syrup with ice, shaken and topped off with some champagne and a lime. Next she mixed up the famous Cosmo using Absolut Citron, simple syrup, lime juice and cranberry juice shaken up with ice and garnished with a lime. The last drink Cook made was a Bramble, which includes gin, lemon juice, simple syrup and a little bit of creme de mure shaken with ice and topped off with raspberries.
