Missing 16-year-old girl found safe, Fraser police say

FRASER, Mich. – A 16-year-old girl who had been missing for a week was found safe in Roseville, Fraser police said.

Ashleigh Pietrangelo had been missing since midnight Aug. 14. She was last seen in the area of 15 Mile and Garfield roads in Clinton Township, officials said.

Pietrangelo fled the home in an unknown direction, according to authorities. They said it was possible she was being held against her will, but she was found with her boyfriend, police said.

Fraser police worked with U.S. marshals to find Pietrangelo.
