Amber alert canceled after 4-year-old West Michigan girl found safe

Michigan State Police have canceled an Amber Alert for a missing 4-year-old girl who was considered endangered.

The alert was issued around 2:30 p.m. Tuesday out of Kentwood Police Department. Before 4 p.m. police issued an alert that she had been found safe.

Faith Cyndora Martinez was last seen with her mother, Pettra Aliesha Yahya, 30. Police say the mother made threats to harm herself and her daughter.

Yahya was last seen driving a red 2005 Buick Rendezvous with the license plate of EBD 2873.

Faith is a light-skinned black girl who is approximately 3 feet tall and weighs about 40 pounds. She has long, curly brown hair and brown eyes.

Anyone with information leading to Faith, Pettra or the vehicle is urged to call 911 or the Kentwood Police Department at 616.698.6580.
