WARREN, Mich. - Ewan "Super Ewan" Drum passed out Thanksgiving meals Sunday to needy people in Warren.
Ewan, who will be 11 soon, has been collecting food and necessities for people since he was 7. He said he thinks he has helped 1,000 people so far, all while wearing a bright red cape.
"He's such an amazing young man," Jeanette Brohl said.
Brohl said a family member's medical bills added up this year, and the Thanksgiving meal is a big help.
The sixth-grader, who loves making people smile, said he's learned a lot from helping people.
"I learned that people are equal and don’t deserve to be treated poorly," Ewan said.
