FedEx will mark its busiest day in company history on Monday when 290,000 team members serve as Santa¹s helpers, delivering millions of packages filled with holiday cheer.

The company expects to ship more than 17 million packages on that day, up 12 percent from last year¹s busiest day and double the volume handles on a typical day.
As online and in-store shoppers check off their lists, they expect to see more than 260 million shipments pass through its global network during the holiday season. To manage the extra volume, FedEx has increased its workforce by approximately 20,000 seasonal positions.
