DETROIT – Authorities in Oakland County are looking for the driver of a pick-up truck that hit a Commerce Township man while he was walking Tuesday night on West Maple Road.
In a release, the Oakland County Sheriff's Office said 53-year-old William Golembiewski was walking eastbound near Benstein Road when he was hit by a black pick-up truck just before 11 p.m.

Golembiewski was taken to Botsford Hospital, where he later died.
The office said witnesses reported seeing Golembiewski "staggering" in an out of the roadway before he was hit.
A license plate or any further description of the pick-up was not immediately released.
