3 men charged in sexual assault of 13-year-old Detroit girl

DETROIT – Wayne County Prosecutor Kym L. Worthy has charged Steven Wilson, 24 of Detroit, DaJuan Lewis, 20, of Southfield, and Corey McElhaney, 20, of Detroit, in connection with the sexual assault of a 13-year-old Detroit female. 

Investigators say on Dec. 16 the 13-year-old girl was walking on 8 Mile Road in Detroit at about 7 p.m. when Wilson and Lewis forced her inside a truck and drove her to an apartment building in the 20000 block of Lasher Road in Southfield.

Police said the teen was held against her will and sexually assaulted by Wilson in the apartment until about noon on Dec. 18 when she was taken to a house in the 14500 block of Roselawn Street. Prosecutors said the teen was then sexually assaulted at the Roselawn house by Lewis and McElhaney.

Wilson is charged with three counts of criminal sexual conduct 1st Degree. Lewis is charged with CSC 1st Degree. McElhaney is charged with three counts of CSC 3rd degree.
