Man charged with 2 Dearborn home break-ins

Marcell Terry accused of breaking into home on Dearborn's west end

DEARBORN, Mich. – A man has been charged with two Dearborn home break-ins.

Police on Wednesday said Marcell Terry is accused of committing the break-ins at homes on the city's west end. He was taken into custody by Dearborn Heights police before being turned over to Dearborn police.

He has been charged with second-degree home invasion, first-degree home invasion, larceny of a firearm and felony firearm. His bond was set at $100,000.

"This arrest could not have been possible without the collaborative efforts of the Dearborn and Dearborn Heights Police Department. This investigation is ongoing and detectives are reviewing other open cases to determine if Terry may be responsible," said Dearborn Police Chief Ron Haddad.
