DETROIT – Southfield police were in pursuit of a stolen car Wednesday night.
Officers followed the vehicle through several communities until the driver crashed on Warren Avenue at Lamphere Street on the Dearborn Heights and Detroit border.

The driver had lost control before striking an electrical pole.
There were no reports on injuries. One person was arrested.
A witness said one man was pulled from the vehicle.
Police said the car was stolen in Southfield.
Both Detroit and Southfield police were at the crash.
