DETROIT – Some new jobs may be coming to Michigan.
The head of Wisconsin-based Marinette Marine Corporation was in Marquette on Monday. The company is looking for workers from the Upper Peninsula to help build new ships.

Charles Goddard, CEO, said he wants to expand the company's supplier base.
Marinette expects to hire 200 new employees.
Michigan had a 9 percent unemployment rate in January.
That ranked 40th out of 50 states and Washington, D.C
