YPSILANTI TOWNSHIP, Mich. – The Washtenaw County Sheriff's Office said a fleeing suspect tried to hide from deputies in an apartment but got kicked out by a person inside.
In a statement about the incident, the Sheriff's Office said deputies pulled over a car Wednesday in the area of Huron River Drive and Spinnaker Way in Ypsilanti Township, but the car took off over the curb and into an apartment complex.

The driver jumped out and tried to run into an apartment but he was "shoved out" by the occupant, deputies said.
The suspect was then caught and arrested.
His name is being withheld until he is arraigned Thursday.
