Man convicted in crash that killed Mount Clemens mother
20-year-old found guilty of negligent homicide in 2010 crash
MOUNT CLEMENS, Mich. – A Mount Clemens man was convicted in a 2010 crash that killed a Mount Clemens woman.
Colin Green, 20 , was found guilty of negligent homicide in the death of Tammy Sizemore.
He was found not guilty of driving with the presence of marijuana causing death. That conviction could have sent him to prison for 15 years.
The negligent homicide conviction could land Green behind bars for two years.
Green posted 10 percent of a $10,000 bond and was released from prison. He will be sentenced on June 12.
In 2010, Green drove through a red light on Gratiot Avenue and Joy Boulevard and crashed into Sizemore's vehicle without braking.
Sizemore's 7-year-old child was also in the car and suffered minor injuries.
