NORTHFIELD TOWNSHIP, Mich. – A suspected serial candy bar thief has been caught in Northfield Township.
Police said the manager of a Shell gas station on North Territorial Road noticed that the same candy bar kept coming up short during inventory.

The manager kept an eye on the situation and discovered that a customer who regularly frequented the gas station was taking the candy bars.
The thief, who hasn't been identified yet, was questioned and confessed to taking more than 25 candy bars, police said.
Police didn't mention what type of candy bar was being stolen.
The case has been submitted to the Washtenaw County Prosecutor's Office.
