DETROIT – Detroit police said there was a double murder Wednesday in the 3500 block of Anderdon Street near Warren Avenue and Conner Street on the city's east side.
Local 4 has learned a 16-year-old and 18-year-old are the victims. The house on Anderdon is a known drug house.
Police said they received a 911 call about two bodies at a vacant house on the block. Police say the teens were shot to death. They did not say how long the teens were in the house, however family say they were not there long.
One of the victims is 16-year-old Jerald Leveston.
"He was wonderful. Everybody knew him. He was known for his cheerfulness and he had a wonderful soul," said Leveston's sister, Kinyonia Leveston.
Police are searching for suspects.
