Gas leak prompts partial evacuation of nursing, rehabilitation center in West Bloomfield
No injuries reported at scene on Farmington Road
WEST BLOOMFIELD, Mich. – A gas leak prompted the evacuation of part of a nursing and rehabilitation center in West Bloomfield.
An wing of the Heartland complex in the 6900 block of Farmington Road was cleared Friday around 9:30 a.m.
Fire officials at the scene said about 20 people were moved to another side of the building.
A construction crew working in the parking lot struck the line.
