Labor Day Forecast

Warm holiday with clouds and some rain

DETROIT – Leftovers from "Isaac" linger for Labor Day in the Motown Area.  Monday morning will be warm and mostly cloudy with temps near 70.  Detroit's Labor Day Parade may have a few showers, but it will not be a complete washout.  Spectators and marchers should pack their umbrellas and rain gear in their trunks just in case they need them.  Afternoon highs will be near 85.  It will be muggy with a 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms forming.  A southeast wind will blow 5 to 10 mph.

Passing showers may remain Monday night with lows near 70.

Tuesday will be warm again with partly sunny skies and another chance of scattered showers and storms. Highs will return to the middle 80s.

A cold front keeps thunderstorms in the forecast Wednesday with highs in the low 80s.  The rest of the week is sunnier, cooler and more comfortable.  Nighttime lows will be in the 50s and daytime highs will be in the 70s Thursday and Friday.
