9 people hurt in DDOT bus crash on Detroit's east side

Bus rear-ends SUV in area of Saint Jean, Mack Avenue

DETROIT – Nine people were hurt Wednesday morning in a DDOT bus crash on Detroit's east side.

Police said the bus rear-ended a Chevy Tahoe near Saint Jean Street and Mack Avenue, causing the Tahoe to rollover.

Six people from the bus were taken to the hospital as a precaution. Two adults and a child who were in the Tahoe were also taken to the hospital.
