Oak Park police: Robber maced clerk, got away with $12K Rolex

Police release picture of robber who targeted Diamond Connection on Greenfield Road


OAK PARK, Mich. – Oak Park police say a jewelry store clerk was maced during a robbery Thursday night.

Police said a man asked to see a $12,500 Rolex watch at Diamond Connections on Greenfield Road.

After putting the watch on, he maced the 25-year-old clerk and took off running.

Police have released a surveillance picture of the suspected robber.
