High school in Plymouth-Canton School District closed Wednesday due to threat

Police in Plymouth are investigating incident

PLYMOUTH, Mich. – Starkweather High School in the Plymouth-Canton School District is closed Wednesday due to a threat.

Concerns began Tuesday afternoon when a fight broke out between two students off campus around lunch time.   A letter was sent home to parents Tuesday afternoon saying the school would have a closed campus on Wednesday.  Sometime overnight a threat was called into the school.  Authorities aren't sure if it is related to Tuesday's incident, but closed the school as a precaution.  Police in Plymouth Township are investigating.
