3-month-old found unharmed after being abducted

SUPERIOR TOWNSHIP, Mich. – Early Monday morning, the Washtenaw County Sheriff's Office located 3-month-old Soloman Brandon who was taken by his biological parents from his grandmother's home in Superior Township.

Soloman was found safe and unharmed.  His parents, 21-year-old Rachael McPherson and 22-year-old Derris Brandon, are now in police custody.

On Sunday evening, deputies were called to the home in the 9000 block of Ascot Dr. in Superior Township for a parental kidnapping. After investigating, deputies discovered that the family is currently in a custody battle over 3-month-old Soloman Brandon.

The biological mother, 21-year-old Rachael McPherson, is not the caretaker of the child and does not have permission to have the child in her custody.

According to the Washtenaw County Sheriff's Office, McPherson took Soloman from the caretaker, the infants biological grandmother.
