Grizzly bear eats GoPro camera during filming of documentary

Photographer planted camera to get up-close footage

Talk about chompers! Amazing up close and personal video of a grizzly bear trying to devour a GoPro camera has been released by photographer Brad Josephs.

Josephs planted the camera to collect footage for the "Great Bear Stakeout" for the BBC and the Discovery Channel.

As reported by Discovery.com, numerous cameras were set up throughout the area, in an effort to offer a close-up view of the bears' habits and behavior. They were thrilled that they managed to capture footage of a bear eating a camera.

The images captured by the mini-camera are absolutely amazing. Believe it or not, the GoPro escaped unscathed.
