HARRISON TWP., Mich. – A 48-year-old Harrison Township man was arrested and charged with assault with a dangerous weapon after reportedly threatening a woman with a machete.

The 39-year-old Harrison Township woman said she was travelling on Crocker Blvd and following a red Ford pick-up truck.  She told police the truck had no tailgate or rear bumper and it was laden with propane tanks.  Concerned that the truck was losing its load, she pulled alongside the driver and motioned to him.   According to the woman, he shouted obscenities.  She told police she followed him to a mobile home in the Blue Sky Mobile Home Park where he entered a residence and then came back out carrying a machete and threatened the woman.
