Crime Stoppers offering reward to find Detroit father's killer

Edward Shaw shot dead on city's east side on May 12

DETROIT – Crime Stoppers is offering a reward to find whoever is responsible for killing a Detroit father last month.

Edward Shaw was shot dead during an attempted robbery on May 12 in the 3000 block of Monclair, which is near Mack and Cadillac.

Police said three people were involved in the shooting but haven't released any descriptions.

The 33-year-old had four children and was a graduate of Southeastern High School in Detroit. He was also a member of the New Temple of Faith Missionary Baptist Church.

Crime Stoppers is offering a $2,500 reward for information that leads to an arrest. Additionally, if an arrest is made before Thursday, $1,000 will be added to the reward.
