MSGCU introduces app to simplify car buying

Car buying app designed to make car loans and shopping easy

CLINTON TWP., Mich. – Need to buy a car? Now there's an app for that. If credit union members were ever looking for a non-biased car shopping app, they now need to look no further than the new one designed by the Michigan Schools and Government Credit Union (MSGCU).

AskAuto™, the new app, allows credit union members to shop for the car of their dreams and subsequently apply for a loan from MSGCU. This can all be done from the member's smartphone or tablet.

"As our members continue to do more and more from their mobile devices, it is important that MSGCU keeps up with their on-the-go lifestyle," said MSGCU President and CEO Peter Gates.

The app also allows users to scan vehicle identification numbers to get average retail costs and EPA mileage estimates. The app saves all information recorded, and users can also make notes and rate the vehicles they like the best.

The app is free and available to be downloaded at the Apple Store, Google Play, or at http://askauto.loanliner.com/market. Members should select "Michigan Schools and Government Credit Union on the startup screen for the app.

The main branch of MSGCU is located at 40400 Garfield Road, just south of 18 Mile Road in Clinton Township. For more information about the app or credit union membership, call 586.263.8800 or 1.866.MSGCU4U, or visit msgcu.org.
