Ben Verlander drafted by Detroit Tigers in 14th round

DETROIT – The Detroit Tigers added another Verlander to their organization on Saturday, drafting Justin Verlander's younger brother Ben in the 14th round.

The younger Verlander was previously drafted by the Tigers in 2010 but chose to play for Old Dominion instead. With a year of college eligibility left, it remains to be seen if Verlander bypasses the Tigers again to finish his college career.
