Bank robber strikes in Ann Arbor

Man gets away with money from Fifth Third Bank on Stadium Drive

ANN ARBOR, Mich. – Ann Arbor police have released pictures of a robber who struck a Fifth Third Bank on Wednesday afternoon.

Police said the man, who was armed with a semi-automatic handgun, walked into the bank off West Stadium Boulevard and demanded money from two bank tellers.

He took an undisclosed amount of money and fled in a white pickup truck that was parked nearby in the Grotto Club parking lot.

Police describe the bank robber as white, in his mid 30s, 6 feet tall and 260 pounds. He was wearing a camouflage baseball cap and black hooded sweatshirt.
