DETROIT – Music is the perfect medicine. After a rough week for the city of Detroit, music seems like the perfect pick-me-up.
The Oakaloosa music festival will kick-off Saturday afternoon at Historic Ft. Wayne in Detroit. Organized by Detroit Sports Zone, Inc., a non-profit group, Oakaloosa will feature a large group of the areas top acts, along with a handful of acts known worldwide, including Bone Thugs-N-Harmony, Jessica Hernandez and the Deltas, Girl Talk and Detroit's own Royce Da 5'9.
