Detroit Symphony Orchestra announces 4 free concerts
Community concerts to be presented this fall by DTE Energy Foundation
DETROIT – The Detroit Symphony Orchestra has announced four free community concerts this fall, presented by the DTE Energy Foundation.
This event, now in its second year, received an overwhelming response in 2012, with nearly 5,000 venues nominated, of which the DSO could choose only 5.
"We are thrilled with the public response to the DSO and DTE Energy Foundation's initiative to make classical music as accessible as possible. We are grateful for the opportunity to help share the artistic excellence of the DSO with the surrounding metropolitan communities," said Mike Chriss, DTE Energy Director- Corporate and Governmental Affairs.
The schedule for the DTE Energy Foundation Presents DSO in your Community concerts is as follows:
Wednesday, September 25, 7:30 p.m. – Lakeview High School (St. Clair Shores, Macomb County)
