All work is scheduled to be completed in mid-November, according to MDOT.

Beginning at sunrise on Saturday, MDOT said crews will close two lanes on northbound and southbound I-275 to paint stripes for a traffic shift.

By sunset Saturday, traffic will be shifted with two lanes open in each direction.

MDOT says overall work includes structural upgrades, pavement repair and barrier wall replacement. MDOT said it wants to remind motorists that crews will be working beneath the freeway and may not be easily visible.
