Wayne State University staff member reports being fondled by man on bike

Man riding past staff member walking on Cass reaches out, grabs her


DETROIT – Wayne State University has issued a crime alert after a staff member reported having her breasts grabbed by a man on a bike.

In a statement, WSU said the staff member parked her car on Cass near York Wednesday morning and was walking down Cass when the incident occurred.

As a man rode past her, he reached out and fondled her. The man didn't say anything to the staff member and kept riding on. She wasn't hurt.

WSU has released the following description of the man:

A black man between 17 and 27 years old, medium build, sculptured face, clean shaven. He had braided hair down his neck and was wearing dark framed glasses with a navy blue long sleeve shirt and dark pants.

His bike was standard size with a dark-colored frame.
