Driver accused of killing Detroit man who had told him to slow down

Thyrone Evans charged with murder for shooting death of Cleveland Dunklin on Sept. 30

DETROIT – A Detroit man has been charged with allegedly shooting and killing another man who had yelled at him to drive slower in a neighborhood.

Wayne County Prosecutor Kym Worthy on Friday said Thyrone Evans, 32, is charged with first-degree murder and felony firearm charges.

Cleveland Dunklin was shot dead Sept. 30 on Braile Street.

Worthy said Dunklin shouted at Evans, who was driving through the area, to slow down because he was concerned for children in the area.

Evans allegedly returned a short time later and opened fire on Dunklin.
