Derrick Miller scheduled to be sentenced for his part in Kilpatrick corruption

Kwame Kilpatrick's former friend, chief administration officer pleaded guilty to federal charges

DETROIT – A sentencing date has been set for Derrick Miller and two others who pleaded guilty to charges connected to former Detroit mayor Kwame Kilpatrick's corruption case.

Miller was an old friend of Kilpatrick's who became his chief administration officer. He testified about delivering bribe money to Kilpatrick.

Miller could face up to 10 years in prison when he is sentenced Dec. 2.

Marc Cunningham and Emma Bell, who also pleaded guilty to federal charges, will be sentenced the same day.
