Waterford police searching for PNC Bank robber

Suspect passed note to teller demanding cash

WATERFORD, Mich. – The Waterford Police Department is asking for the public's help in identifying a man who robbed a PNC Bank in November.

Police said the man entered the bank on West Huron on Nov. 7 and passed a note to the bank teller demanding an undisclosed amount of cash in random denominations.

After receiving that cash, the he left the bank and fled in an unknown direction.

It is believed that a hidden dye pack that was packaged with the stolen cash was discharged shortly after the suspect exited the bank.

The suspect is described as a white male, in his late 40s to early 50's, 5'10 to 6'0, thin build and wearing glasses.
