BRIGHTON TOWNSHIP, Mich. – It's a happy ending for a black lab that was rescued from a frozen lake in Brighton Township.
The pup was rescued Sunday by firefighters on Lake Moraine, off Pleasant Valley Road.

The dog didn't have a collar and was taken to Towne and County Animal Hospital.
Firefighters had released pictures of the dog in hopes of finding the owner.
On Monday, Fire Chief Michael O'Brian told Local 4 the dog's owner had been found.
