Detroit police release pictures of vehicles in fatal hit-and-run

Darlene Yeargin killed while walking Thursday evening on city's west side

DETROIT – Detroit police have released pictures of two vehicles they are looking for in connection with a hit-and-run that killed a grandmother of six.

Darlene Yeargin was hit by twice while walking along Puritan and Asbury Park on the city's west side Thursday evening.

Yeargin was on her way to volunteer at Lighthouse Cathedral Church, which is just around the corner from her house.

Police said they're looking for a black or other dark colored 2002-2003 Chevy Monte Carlo. They're also looking for a white conversion van that also hit Yeargin.
